Featured Charity: Wounded Warrior Project

Wounded Warrior Project® (WWP) serves veterans and service members who incurred a physical or mental injury, illness, or wound, co-incident to their military service on or after September 11, 2001 and their families. On that date, America watched in horror as approximately 3,000 people died including hundreds of firefighters and rescue workers. Many warriors note a sense of duty to volunteer for the military following these tragic events.

Mission: To honor and empower Wounded Warriors.

Vision: To foster the most successful, well-adjusted generation of wounded service members in our nation’s history.

Purpose

  • To raise awareness and enlist the public’s aid for the needs of injured service members.
  • To help injured service members aid and assist each other.
  • To provide unique, direct programs and services to meet the needs of injured service members.

We realize that there are a lot of charities to choose from so we would like to highlight some of our favorites. June’s featured charity is Wounded Warrior Project.  Check out our FACEBOOK page at the 5th of each month to see how much was donated or check out the Intro section of our Etsy page.
