Breast cancer knows no age, gender or race. As the most common cancer in women worldwide and the second most common cancer overall, it remains a fact of life. Nearly 1.7 million women around the globe were diagnosed in 2012, and incidence rates are on the rise. BCRF want to put an end to breast cancer. The goal: No more fear. No more hospital visits. No more side effects or needless suffering. No more loved ones lost to breast cancer.
The Breast Cancer Research Foundation is a nonprofit organization committed to achieving prevention and a cure for breast cancer. We provide critical funding for cancer research worldwide to fuel advances in tumor biology, genetics, prevention, treatment, metastasis and survivorship.
Since the founding in 1993 by Evelyn H. Lauder, BCRF has raised more than half a billion dollars for lifesaving research. Through a unique and streamlined grants program, they seek out the brightest minds in science and medicine and give them the necessary resources to pursue their best ideas. As a result, researchers are able to make discoveries and design new approaches to address all aspects of breast cancer—and do so in record time.

Honor a loved one by making a donation to BCRF in his or her name, and create a legacy of generosity.
Simply check off “Tribute to a Loved One” on the online donation form. At your request, we will send an email of recognition to whomever you indicate as a “thank you.”
Planned giving allows you to make a lasting impact in the fight against cancer. With a planned gift, you can help not only the women and men affected by cancer, but also the researchers working to make a cure a reality.
Our program encompasses all charitable gifts that involve entities or vehicles associated with planning, such as wills, trusts and other “split interest” gifts. Your financial advisor can help you learn more about planned giving options, and we would be happy to guide you in the right direction.
