Featured Charity: Earth Justice
Giving Through Jewelry believes in giving back and that’s why 10% of all sales are donated to a charity of the buyer’s choice. There are so many charities to choose from so we like to highlight one organization every month. This month we’re featuring the nonprofit organization, Earthjustice for the month of December. We care about Bears Ears and Grand Staircase-Escalante and want to support the national monuments. You can check out our FACEBOOK page to see how much we donate.
Today’s environmental challenges are greater than ever. But we live in a country of strong environmental laws—and Earthjustice holds those who break our nation’s laws accountable for their actions. Earthjustice has been the legal backbone for thousands of organizations, large and small. Behind nearly every major environmental win, you’ll find Earthjustice.
Who Are They?
As the nation’s original and largest nonprofit environmental law organization, we leverage our expertise and commitment to fight for justice and advance the promise of a healthy world for all. We represent every one of our clients free of charge.
With more than a hundred attorneys in offices across the country, Earthjustice pursues three key goals to secure a just, flourishing world:
Our nation’s laws protect the magnificent natural spaces and wildlife we have inherited from previous generations. Earthjustice enforces those laws to protect what we know to be irreplaceable wildlife and wild places, for this and future generations.
Earthjustice fights for a future where children can breathe clean air, no matter where they live; where products in our homes are free of toxic chemicals; and where all communities are safer, healthier places to live and work.
Earthjustice’s legal victories strengthen the rise of clean energy, laying the groundwork for the systemic change we must see. At stake is nothing less than our children’s—and our planet’s—future.
With the generous investment of our members, we are pursuing nearly 400 active legal cases.
Earthjustice’s decades of success are thanks to strong partnerships with hundreds of organizations—and hundreds of thousands of passionate supporters.
Ways To Give
When you support Earthjustice, you’re not only contributing to one of the most effective environmental organizations in the country, you’re helping many other nonprofits get the best legal defense-always without charge.
